Melissa Melissa Streuli is originally from New York, where she studied with Dr. Laura Mount of the Julliard School in New York City, and was first violinist with the New York Youth Symphony, performing in Carnegie Hall. In 1999, she received her BA from the University of New Hampshire, where she studied with Professor Robert Eshbach and was concertmistress of the UNH Symphony. As a professional musician, she has performed extensively throughout the Northeast in several different ensembles. Melissa maintains a private teaching studio at Berwick Academy in South Berwick, Music Makers in Hampton, Earcraft Music in Dover, and at her home in Somersworth.
LynneLynne is a freelance violinist who has played and taught in New England for almost twenty years. She earned her Music Performance and Master of Education degrees at Smith College, and has studied under Phillip Naegele, Giorgio Ciompi and Ani Kavafian. She has performed extensively with many ensembles, including Mostly Baroque, The New England Festival Orchestra, and the Portland Symphony. Lynne has taught at Berwick Academy and River Tree Arts, and currently teaches at her private studio in Cape Neddick, ME. She also conducts the Bow Street Youth Ensemble in Portsmouth, NH.
SallySally earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Viola Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music, where she studied with Heidi Castleman and Marcus Thompson. Sally has played with the Vermont Symphony, the Hanover Handel Society, the Granite State Symphony, and the New Hampshire Philharmonic. She currently teaches music at Berwick Academy, and is an active freelance performer throughout New England. She lives in Somersworth, NH, with her husband and two sons.
Gary Gary is active in several civic and professional musical organizations in the seacoast area: The Granite State Symphony Orchestra and the Granite State Opera to name a couple. In addition to the cello, Gary plays the viola da gamba in the Woodman Consort of Viols, an early music ensemble. Gary teaches strings in the Pentucket Regional School District, in West Newbury, MA., and at the Pine Hill Waldorf School in Wilton, NH. He is involved with several string development programs teaching cello, viols, and chamber music, including the Maine ASTA String Academy, Summer Youth Music School at the University of NH, North East Youth Symphony Orchestra, Manchester Community Music School, and Timberlane High School. Gary directs the Phillips Exeter Summer School Orchestra. In addition, Gary maintains a full-time private studio. Gary lives in Exeter, NH with his wife, Sarah.
